During Term 3, children participate in:

• Session 1: Storytime
• Session 2: The Arts - Make, Draw and Create Dance and Mime
• Session 3: STEAM - Exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths
• Session 4: Physical Education and Perceptual Motor Program

09. Attend Kinder to Foundation Transition Sessions

Attend Kinder to Foundation Transition Sessions

During Term 4, children enrolled at our school participate in 5 sessions across 5 weeks.

Each session runs for approximately 2 hours.

Children will participate in a range of activities, including fine motor skills, literacy, maths, social interactions, exploring learning spaces, school routines and expectations. Participating in our transition program supports children to adjust more easily, feel confident, and enjoy a positive start to their schooling journey.

10. Attend Parent Information Evening

Attend Parent Information Evening

At the end of the transition program, a Parent Information Evening is held.

This session provides parents and carers with key information about the school, important dates for the school year and tips to support their child’s learning and wellbeing.

Transition session times and the Parent Information Night date are shared in Term 3 of each year.
