Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre
Supports migrant and refugee families in Melbourne’s North-West (including Hume) with parenting and family relationship programs. Their “Parenting in a New Culture (PINC)” program helps newly arrived parents adapt to parenting in Australia — culturally responsive, addresses issues such as behaviour, discipline, family relationships and settlement.

Broadmeadows Women’s Community House
A safe, supportive community house for women (and children) especially those isolated or marginalised in the Hume region. Offers programs that may support parents, single mums, culturally diverse women, and helps connect to other services.

Hume City Council – Community Hubs Program
15 community hubs (based in schools) across Hume that provide parent/family support, training, playgroups, English classes, community kitchens, and pathways to volunteering/education for parents.

DPV Health – Refugee & Asylum Seeker Health Program
Offers free comprehensive health assessments for newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers in the Hume / Whittlesea catchment. Services include physical & mental health, immunisations, maternal & child health, paediatric clinics, interpreter support. Families with children needing health check-ups, newly arrived parents needing health support, multilingual/interpreter services.
